OP Jindal College of Nursing was established under JSW Foundation in 2012 at Torangallu, Bellary district with the aim of empowering students from humble rural background to achieve a brighter future. The objective of this institute is to provide highly skilled and efficient nursing students to serve in various hospitals, community and institutes of nursing. The college is approved by the Govt. of Karnataka, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi & Karnataka State Nursing Council.

Objectives of the Institution
- To function as health care member for various positions in the hospital, teaching institution and community area
- To utilize the knowledge from physical, biological, behavioral and human sciences in the practice of professional nursing

Message from the Principal
I deem it a great honour and pride in being the Principal of OP Jindal College of Nursing which is managed by JSW Foundation.
The college was starting in the year 2012 and currently successfully running basic B.Sc. Nursing program, which is a four years degree in Nursing, Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Karnataka and recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi and the Karnataka State Nursing Council.
The college is equipped with the state of the art class room and laboratory and library and learning centre. Efficient and experienced faculty strive to equip the students to be efficient bed side nurses, teachers and health care professionals. The students are exposed to clinical component form the first year. We believe in the all round development of the students by involving them in the curricular and co curricular activity and going beyond class room teaching and bringing out the best in them personally and professionally. The teachers participate and organize various conference and workshop and keep themselves abreast with the changing trends in nursing.
